Coaching under the winningest coach in Gamecock history, coach Bill McDonald, I was fortunate to coach and recruit the likes of George and Wesley Bryan, Mark Anderson, Mark Silvers, Paul Woodbury, Matt Nesmith and Will Stark to name a few. Six-straight NCAA regional appearances (2005-10), winning the school’s first NCAA regional title in 2007, and advancing to the NCAA championship three times. In 2008-09, South Carolina won a school-record four tournament titles. In 2010, I was honored to be named the top men’s assistant collegiate golf coach in the nation.

While in Madison, we were fortunate to raise the level of the program in every area while balancing the high academic standards. Our players recorded four of the five-best single-season scoring averages in school history. In 2018-19, the Badgers recorded the lowest ever season average.  Tallying seven combined individual and team victories, we were able to have both team and individual success.  Jordan Hahn, the Badgers first ever 1st team All Big Ten selection in 2019, he immediately moved onto the Korn Ferry Tour after gaining membership thru Korn Ferry q school. Following Jordan, Sam Anderson advanced thru PGA Tour-Mackenzie Tour qualifying school adding the second Badger in two years to gain membership on one of the world's premier tours.
